How To Change Your Life Forever
Many people live their lives like they are writing a draft version of today.
‘Next time, in my next life, I will do better’;
“I shall finally start living when I grew older’;
‘I wish I was born rich”;
‘If only I could change this one thing in my entire life…’
Does it sound familiar to you? Look at your family and friends and say – are they already living or just preparing themselves to live? And what about you? If you have ever thought
that you are not completely satisfied with your existence, it is never late to change your life from now and forever. One of the greatest lessons I learned from Anthony Robbins event in Singapore is that you can change your life in a moment. He said you can create change in a heartbeat. That was one of the highlights at Unleash The Power Within Singapore.
Nowadays, when the times of slavery are over and every person is in charge of own life, the only master that can enslave us hides in our minds. We say that we have instead
of saying that we have ‘situations’. And imagine, what if we call them ‘challenges’, fascinating and interesting adventures to overcome? Or – even better – what if we call them ‘opportunities’? Success lies on the other side of a failure, and it is not just a famous quote, it is the first hint to stop being afraid and start acting. Now.
3 Life Changing Questions to Ask
So, let’s imagine that you have already taken the decision to change your life forever, overcome your fear of failure, but you still have no idea where to start with. The answers are always inside you. Ask yourself a few simple questions and take your time to think about them carefully and give a full sincere response.
1. What makes you happy?
Make a list. Write down every idea that comes to your mind, and afterward choose the top five activities that absolutely excite you. Now you have a direction to move and a purpose to
live!
2. What are your greatest achievements?
Think of the things you do great. Write down your accomplishments in work, hobby, relationships. Think about why you have succeeded and what the strong qualities of yours are. You may be good at communication, but have spent all your life counting figures. Go change that!
3. What would you do if you had no limits in your life?
Now, dream. Think about the most amazing things, free your mind like you have no limitations or borders. What is your ideal job or lifestyle? How do you imagine your family?
How much money do you want to earn?
Answering these questions can help you to create your ‘dream board’, a tool to visualize your future life and finally make it the way you want it to be. Take your time, make it
carefully, draw, paint, cut old magazines if you need. Pin your dream board to the wall and make it real in your mind.
However, dreams will remain only dreams without an action plan. As soon as you understand what you truly want, write a strategy – small steps to achieve your goals. Divide them into short-term, medium and long-term goals, followed by the measurable results.
Follow every assigned step, stick to the plan, and you will have noticed that your life has changed dramatically.
