The List of Amazing 15 Fictional TV Shows
We live in a golden age of fictional television shows. Mind-blowing special effects finally became available not only on the big screen movies.
TV writers increasingly working hard for an adult audience, raising some serious topics to be filming around.
Every new long season of a new fictional TV Show makes it possible to tell a complex and sophisticated story.
TV Channels, like never before, have a chance to share with their audience pretty serious novels, picturing almost every moment without the story details loss. Isn’t It Amazing?
Since I am a fan of fiction, I feel a responsibility to share with you the list of the main fiction television series that you may have missed the first time around.
Because the challenge lies in whether you can get much enough time to watch all the great sci-fi TV shows that you have on your watch list.
Chances are that you have most likely missed a couple of great ones that are very high.
For instance, somehow I have missed an amazing American detective television series “Mr. Mercedes“, based on one of the most eponymous novels by Stephen King and this show is tremendous.
By the way, in this list, you will find a few based on novels by Stephen King TV Series.
So how can you get around to watching all the new shows that you missed the first time around or the great TV shows that you’ve always wished to watch?

Just in case you do not know what is “Fiction” here is a short definition.
Fiction extensively refers to any story that comes from the imagination. The story that is not based accurately on real-life events, history or fact.
In cinema, it is an opposition to documentary film. It is a genre that uses fictional sometimes the science-based definition of phenomena, events, and facts that are not actually accepted by mainstream science.
For instance: extraterrestrial lifeforms, events, alien worlds, extrasensory perception and time travel.
Fictional TV Shows: Mr. Mercedes
Starring: Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, Holland Taylor
The story of unveils a psychopathic killer who drives a stolen Mercedes into a crowd. Also, we get introduced to another one, a retired detective who tries to combat bring him and tries to bring him down.
The amazing characters will magically keep you totally hooked and looking forward to the subsequent seasons.
Castle Rock
Starring: André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgard
In this show, the series brings characters and themes into the focus of the town of Castle Rock.
As the events unfold you will discover that Bill Skarsgård is the very definition of creepy, right down to the way he walks and carries himself and the episode is definitely setting up for something big.
Origin
Starring: Natalia Tena, Tom Felton, Sen Mitsuji
The origin involves a team of strangers struggling for survival aboard a spaceship heading to a far off planet.
Abandoned in space, the passengers wake up later, trying to locate other strangers, but they would find something entirely different.
You will discover this show is pretty much sci-fi channel acting quality. As it progresses into later episodes the actors get better and better.
The Purge
Starring: Gabriel Chavarria, Hannah Emily Anderson, Jessica Garza
This show reportedly happens in the US, where several unrelated people discover how far they will go to survive a night where all crime is going on the whole day.
They then would find themselves deep in chaos at night.
Fictional TV Shows: Project Blue Book
Starring: Aidan Gillen, Michael Malarkey, Laura Mennell
Meet a tough US Air Force officer and a certain scientist probe UFO and alien conspiracies. This happens most probably as the Cold War fear spreads.
Watching Project Blue Book you will find the show fresh. Most certainly, you also find Aidan Gillen compelling due to his great performance.
Mindhunter
Starring: Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv
The setting is the late 1970s, where two FBI agents are tasked with interviewing serial killers to solve open cases.
It’s a whole mystery of TV detectives and sleuths and also about the career of veteran actor and “Mindhunter” star Holt McCallany.
Dark
Starring: Oliver Masucci, Karoline Eichhorn, Jördis Triebel
With the Dark TV show, you will be in for a family saga leading to a funny turn of events, set in a German town, where the disappearance of two young children exposes the relationships among four families.
This adventurous show gives you an understanding of the Netflix original series “Dark,” the first German series to be streamed internationally.
Altered Carbon
Starring: Joel Kinnaman, James Purefoy, Martha Higareda
In this show, consciousness is stored in digitized form. With Joel Kinnaman acting, you will be spellbound from the first minute, overwhelmed with emotion, happiness, and tears.
Westworld
Starring: Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris
In Westworld episodes, you are going to explore a world in which every human appetite can be indulged without consequence.
It is shown that brings us to the near future at the same time taking us back to a re-imagined past.
You will like the show right from the first season. You will discover it’s a unique take on AI and the vices of humankind.
The underlying search for hidden motives and “the truth” keeps the show going, up to a grand finale.
The Crossing
Starring: Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Tommy Bastow
This show is about refugees from the country torn by war, then 180 years in the future, this starts showing up in the present to seek refuge in an American town.
The plan by Jude and Nestor to drive the refugees out of the camp is impressive. However, it gets tough when Sophie arrives with new information.
The Haunting of Hill House
Starring: Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas
The show points out how a shattered family confronts haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.
A terrifying dark specter with an unsettling silhouette has haunted Nell since she was a girl.
Fargo
Starring: Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Allison Tolman
This classic TV show is an account of deception, intrigue, and murder taking place around frozen Minnesota. Amazingly, the episodes lead us to all to Fargo, North Dakota.
The script, the writing, the flow, the characters, actors are stellar, not to mention the excellent capture of the Fargo experience.
9-1-1
Starring: Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark
This TV show explores the intense pressure experiences of being a first responder. Undeniably, the expenses are the most frightening, shocking, traumatic, yet personally fulfilling.
It is an entertaining and intense show whereby the first responders deal with a neighbor Christmas light showdown accident.
The Resident
Starring: Matt Czuchry, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal
This excellent TV show revolves around an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident. The doctor seems determined to pull back all the rottenness dominating the modern day medical space.
The storyline is entertaining. The protagonist characters are very likable and relatable.
The Good Doctor
Starring: Freddie Highmore, Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas.
Shaun Murphy is a new and inexperienced surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome. He is then enrolled in a surgical unit of a prestigious hospital.
You will love the brilliant storyline and the fantastic Freddie as Dr. Shaun Murphy.
